A portrait of sorts, Leto II from the 4th novel of Frank Herbert's original Dune series. He is a very interesting character that really claims the role of putting the average reader into the shoes of a God, reshaping the nature of the soul for all of mankind (and simultaneously bringing the cerebral content of the saga to a new plateau.)

I didn't think I would spend so much time developing the figure, so there is little to no background. None was really planned out.

Best book in the series. I should have been paying more attention, I'm thrilled to see a portrait of this character. He's so hansom, why would you want to push him off a bridge for insisting you fuck someone you were going to fuck anyway? Duncan Idaho is a dick.

Oh! Also, his title was the God Emperor of Mankind, wasn't it? Isn't that where games workshop took that title from when they made Warhammer 40k? Also Laz guns.

ooer neat
Dune would have to be my most favorite series to read.
Its such a wrenching sacrifice Leto II makes when he decides to merge with the sand trout.

Anyway, its neat portrait of him. not much left of him at this point heh :)
